Join the post that is already getting attention

When a post about your buyer’s problem takes off, add the most useful comment under it.

When to use it

Your niche has active voices on LinkedIn or X whose posts regularly get hundreds of comments.

Steps

  1. Follow 20 people your buyers follow. Turn on notifications for the five most relevant.
  2. When one of them posts about your buyer’s problem, comment within the first hour.
  3. Add something new: a number, a short example, a counterpoint. No pitch.
  4. Make your profile headline say exactly who you help and how, so curious readers click through.

Template

[Agree/disagree in one line.] We saw this with [N] [buyers]: [specific observation]. What helped most was [concrete tip].

How to know it worked

Profile visits and connection requests from the buyer profile after each comment.

Common mistakes

  • “Great post!” comments do nothing.
  • Linking your product in the comment usually reduces reach.

FirstTen turns this playbook into a ready draft for your business, with the exact buyer and words from your own site.
